Beginning June 1, UNITE will reopen its lobby during regular business hours.
In consultation with Black Hawk County Health Department, Iowa Department of Health, Iowa Credit Union League and National Credit Union Association, we have developed procedures and measures to ensure we meet public health and safety guidelines.
For your safety and that of our employees, our guidelines address the latest recommendations on

For Your Protection
Guest areas are sanitized several times throughout the day.
We provide alcohol-based sanitizer in a hands-free dispenser near our south lobby entrance. All member-facing stations also have alcohol-based hand sanitizer available. (An alcohol-free option is available, upon request.)
Antimicrobial face shields are installed at all member-facing stations.
We encourage but do not require guests to wear face coverings. If you choose this option within our lobby, follow posted instructions related to their safe use.
Please do not be offended if we ask you to remove your mask for the purposes of identity verification.
We sanitize work stations, signing styluses, pens, clipboards and other tools after each member interaction.
Teller stations are staffed with distance guidelines in mind. Likewise, each station has purple floor markings to indicate the recommended distance of six feet between individuals.
Due to our small lobby size, we ask that you restrict your visit to one member per account.
We have reduced seated waiting spots areas to two, to comply with spacing recommendations.
Our employees have been provided with protective gloves, hand sanitizer, optional face coverings and other safety protective equipment.
Please be patient if we ask you to wait in your vehicle in the event that our lobby reaches occupancy thresholds.

- Get a loan
- Purchase a certificate of deposit
- Utilize Notary services
- Need to complete a more complex transaction
- Or have concerns about health safety
