UNITE Credit Union is offering (2) $500 College Scholarships. One will be awarded to a high school senior graduating in spring 2026 and one will be awarded to a current college student who will be continuing their education. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, room and board, books and other educational expenses. Entries must be submitted no later than March 31, 2026.
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Applicant must be a member of UNITE Credit Union (account in the student’s name) and must be opened at least 90 days prior to submitting the scholarship application.
2. Applicant must be entering or attending a vocational, technical, community college or 4-year college/university.
3. Applicant must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
4. Prior scholarship recipients and family members of UNITE employees are not eligible.
5. Applicant is required to write an essay of approximately 300-500 words on the following topic:
“If you could design one new program or initiative for UNITE Credit Union that supports youth or strengthens your local community, what would it be, who would benefit, and what difference would it make?”
Before completing the form below, please read the instructions carefully. All information given on this application will be kept confidential. Scholarship recipients will be chosen by an independent committee and will be contacted by April 30, 2026. The scholarship winner will be required to submit a photo to be used for various print and electronic media.
